Fricks Market supports local schools through donations, fundraisers and discounts. We also work with the locals Chamber of Commerce and the local City Governments.
Just a few of the organizations we support are:
There are many types of successful fundraisers for organizations, but sometimes people don't want to spend money on something they don't need or they don't have time to ask family and friends to buy the items. Bake sales and auctions work great but can be a challenge to fit into a busy schedule.
Script cards are a great alternative for your school, church, sports booster, or other non-profit organization. The organization can make money by asking people to do nothing more than their regular grocery shopping. Your organization purchases gift cards from Fricks Market to use or sell and receives a 5% discount. This means that a $100 gift card will cost your organization $95 and you will sell for face value, making you $5 for your group.
Apples for the Students
Students, parents, administrators, businesses, community groups and other school supporters collect register receipts that are issued from Fricks Market during the 30 week program.
After being collected and counted, register receipts are deposited into the school's account. The receipts will accumulate in this account until the school has enough receipts to redeem for their choice of educational awards offered in the Award Catalog.
During the 2016-2017 receipt collection period, 4 local schools participated in Fricks Apples for the Students program. They collected 216,000 points in receipt totals.
Be sure your school is registered! Each school must be registered each year to be eligible. To register your school, go here.
Raise Money for your School or Non-Profit
The Save-A-Label program is an extremely successful program, which helps non-profit organizations raise money. Currently, there are over 13,000 non-profit groups in the area that participate in the program. These groups earn $.03 for each Best Choice UPC symbol redeemed, with a minimum of 1,000 labels required for redemption. This program represents more than 1.2 million cases of Best Choice products purchased by consumers in one year! Find out more here.
